Hi I’m Kaitlin,
the heart and hands behind Southfield Paws. My love for dogs runs deep — I grew up surrounded by wagging tails and wet noses as my family bred schnauzers back in the States. From an early age, I got involved in all aspects of caring for dogs, but grooming quickly became my passion. There’s just something incredibly rewarding about transforming a muddy pup into a clean, happy companion.
Now nestled on a peaceful farm, Southfield Paws is the perfect place for dogs to relax, get pampered, and feel their best. Whether it’s a full groom or a quick tidy, we treat every dog like one of our own — with gentle hands, kind hearts, and plenty of treats.

At Southfield Paws, we know every dog is different, which is why we’ve created a boarding experience that’s calm, caring, and tailored to each pup’s personality. Set on our quiet farm, dogs have space to stretch their legs, enjoy the countryside, and settle into a relaxed routine while you’re away.
Caring for dogs has always been a huge part of our lives, and alongside grooming, we’re lucky to have experience from the training side too, with my husband working closely with dogs as a trainer. This means we understand the importance of patience, structure, and building trust with every dog that stays with us — whether they’re energetic, nervous, playful, or just love a cuddle.
From bedtime snuggles to outdoor play and one-on-one attention, we make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and genuinely cared for throughout their stay. Our goal is simple — to give you peace of mind knowing your pup is enjoying their own little countryside holiday.

Bath & Brush
Perfect for pups who just need a freshen-up! Our bath service includes a deep-clean shampoo, gentle blow dry, full brush-out, ear cleaning, nail trim, and a spritz of dog-safe cologne. We’ll have your dog looking shiny, soft, and smelling farm-fresh — without the full haircut.
Full Groom
The works! This service includes everything in our Bath & Brush, plus a teeth clean and full-body haircut tailored to your dog’s breed or your personal style preference. Whether it's a classic cut or a fun doodle trim, we take our time to ensure your pup leaves looking polished and feeling their best.
Puppy Groom
We believe in making your pup’s first grooming experience as gentle and friendly as a farm handshake. We take it slow and steady—just like introducing a young animal to a new barn—so your pup gets used to the sights, sounds, and smells of the grooming. From the hum of the clippers to the whoosh of the blow dryer, we ease them in with calm, kind handling and short, relaxed sessions.
By the time they’re ready for the full works, they’ll be trotting through the door with their tail wagging.
Best for pups up to 6 months old.
This package includes a gentle brush, a warm bath and blow-dry, and a friendly intro to nail clipping.
De-shed Treatment
Help your pup stay cool and comfy with our de-shedding treatment. We use a special shampoo and conditioner to loosen up that thick undercoat, then give them a good blowout and brush to clear out all the loose fur. Great for heavy shedders and working dogs who need to stay tidy between seasons.
